Tuna Stuffed Mushrooms
Utensils needed:
Large bowl
Can Opener
Fork & Spoon
Ingredients needed:
1 can of tuna (I used tuna, you could use whatever you would like but I suggest some form of seafood)
6 large mushrooms (you could make it up to 12 if they are small mushrooms)
2 tablespoons of mayonnaise (I used Kraft Miracle Whip, you could use whatever pleases you)
1 large stalk of celery
1 green onion
3/4 cup of grated cheese (I used aged cheddar, you could use whatever you would like)
3 slices of dill pickle (or whatever other garnish suits you)
- Open the can of tuna and place in the bowl along with the two tablespoons of mayonnaise.
- Chop the celery & green onion into tiny, pea sized bits and add to the bowl.
- Grate the cheese (or cube, if you prefer) and add to the bowl, mix all ingredients thoroughly.
- Wash the mushrooms well in cold water, remove the stalk so you have a space to stuff the mix.
- Use the spoon or the fork (or your washed hands) to stuff the mushrooms.
- Add garnish and serve immediately.
FOR NON-DAIRY: Substitute the mayo for a soy-based sauce or add some dill and two dashes of lemon instead. For the cheese, you could either use a soy or tofu loaf or ignore this ingredient. Enjoy!
